Portland Movers Ready’s maximum liability for loss or damage to any individual article is limited to $0.60 per pound per article (Released Value). We are not liable for:

• Items packed by the customer.
• Internal mechanical/electronic functions of appliances or hot tubs.
• Furniture made of pressed wood/particle board.
• Damage caused by pre-existing structural weaknesses.

 We are not responsible for electrical/plumbing reconnection or internal components. The customer must ensure the tub is drained and disconnected prior to arrival. 

 Full payment is required immediately upon completion of the move. We only accept CASH. 

Our minimum charge is to be paid to us in full if customer decides to cancel in either of the 2 scenarios:  Customer can't cancel 8am job in the middle of the night or in the morning.  Also for mid day jobs If you ask for movers to be sent you are not allowed to cancel if movers are already on the way.

**DISCLAIMER:  We are not ODOT authorized to provide truck for certain classifications of household goods transportation.  However we are authorized Pack and Loaders and Specialized Movers.  Oregon law allows Portland Movers Ready to offer pack and load moving services, moving labor, packing, office moving, delivery services, furniture assembly, specialized moving services such as piano moving, hot tub moving, load unload service, moving help, moving assistance, and many other moving services.  Oregon HB 2817 specifies that Pack and Loaders are exempt from motor carrier regulations if they act as an agent for someone who does provide or operate the vehicle.  We have Specialized authorizations tailored for specific commodities and specialized services.
